Are weddings legally recognised overseas?
Legal weddings are recognised worldwide. See next
page for wedding types available. Our suppliers in Italy will assist with paperwork required for foreign citizens to marry in Italy. What documents are required to get married in Italy?
Birth Certificates;
Passports; Divorce Certificate/Spouse Death Certificate – photocopy for each of you where applicable, if either of you has been married previously or widowed (each time); Two main documents are required for Australian citizens to marry in Italy. These are the Atto Notorio and the Nulla Osta – there is a great deal of information regarding these two documents, so please ask us. How do I apply for a marriage license?
There are different processes depending on whether it is a church, civil (town hall) wedding, or a symbolic ceremony. Please talk to us.

How many days before should we
arrive? It is recommended that you arrive at least a couple
of days before your wedding. This will allow time to finalise plans. |
